A perpetual Beta?
While a wiki is in many ways a perpetual beta in that it is subject to constant change, in this case we have released Practical Plants as a Beta to make it clear that the website is very new and both the website software and data are in their nascence. Once the software has been well tested and the data standard increases, Practical Plants will be officially out of Beta!
